Once is Never Enough.

We recommend you book your Cairns Airport Transfers at least 2 weeks prior to arriving and departing Port Douglas. Any Attraction Transfers Mossman Gorge Hartleys Crocodile Adventures Hook a Barra, Bruce Belchers Daintree River Cruises, SkyRail, Kuranda Scenic Rail, Cairns Wake Park, Sky Park Cairns, Port Douglas to Palm Cove or Cairns City Day Trip or Private Charters around FNQ should be organised then as well.

During Peak Season: May to October, Easter and Christmas Holidays, please consider booking all your Transfers when you Book your Accommodation and Your Restaurants as well so you don’t miss out.

It is Approx 1.25hrs Drive from Cairns Airport heading North and 1.45hrs South of Cape Tribulation. 

Subject to Traffic Conditions and Daintree Ferry Crossing if heading over to Cape Tribulation.

There is one road in and out of Port Douglas Via Cairns and there is no Public Transport, so your best option is a Shared Shuttle or a Private Transfer unless you are Hiring a Car.

There are Taxis in Port Douglas, Uber is scarce, and Cell Reception is limited in some areas.

If Your Accommodation is not near Main Street Macrossan, Local Shuttles (multi day pass is better value), Bikes or Electric Scooters can get you in and out of the Town Centre.

Port Douglas Markets are Sunday Mornings on Wharf Street, Marina Markets at Crystalbrook Super-yacht Marina are Wednesday’s from 11am.

Sunset and Day Cruises, Great Barrier Reef Cruises and Daintree Rainforest Activities are a must do, to tick off your bucket list.
